Sustainability sits at the core of everything we do in the South African wine industry. For CapeWine 2022, the decision was made to showcase all of the amazing projects, programmes and activities that leads to the longevity of our industry, whilst focusing on the three pillars of “People, Place and Prosperity”.
Each of these pillars play an integral role in ensuring a brighter and better future for South African wine, those who are directly involved and invested in it, surrounding communities, the fauna and flora that envelops it and the longer-term growth and upliftment of the industry.
The “360” refers not only to the full circle of 360 degrees of sustainability, but also to the fact that our industry is steeped in history, celebrating more than 360 years of winemaking since the very first day that wine was made from Cape grapes in 1659. We look forward to celebrating all of these elements with you at CapeWine 2022.
